About the Project
For 18 months, Sarah Rose Reilly worked on redesigning a private residence in Sag Harbor, New York. For the flooring on the main level of the house, she decided to install engineered European White Oak hardwood.
Sarah Rose selected a custom variation based off our Ancient Ivory color on character grade 7”-wide planks. It’s not unusual for a customer to take one of our existing colors and have us change it slightly. Being that all our products are custom made, changing the shade of your hardwood flooring is quite simple for us.

“It was a dream come true to be able to work with so many talented craftsmen to create the kitchen of my dreams,” commented Sarah Rose. “Being passionate about my profession was worth all the time it took. It is a huge honor to be recognized for this project.”
The hardwood flooring does an excellent job at keeping the space feeling open and airy. The dark cabinets are a wonderful contrast to the lightness of the floor. Other wooden objects, such as the dining table, chairs and mantle, all feature different shades of brown, yet flow together flawlessly.
